Septic Pipe Repair

Some common problems with septic drain pipes are foreign objects clogging or blocking the drain pipe, solids from the septic tank overflowing into the exit drain pipe, and  tree roots or vegetation growing into the pipe and cracking it. Pipes can also be cracked or crushed by heavy equipment or vehicles travelling on the soil above.

These types of problems will be create symptoms that you will recognize, such as drain backups in bathtubs, showers and sinks.  You might also notice that toilets will not complete the flush cycle and will back up as well.

If you have determined that the line blockage is outside of the house and conventional methods of unclogging the pipes have failed, you’ll need to dig up the septic lines, inspect and repair.  A typical inspection will start at the septic tank itself to determine if the backup is caused by the inflow pipe or the outflow pipe that connects to the drain field.
